How to Invest as Beginner - and Gain High Profits

André (left), during a panel speech at a mining & investment conference

So you want to invest? And you want to invest for the purpose of increasing your wealth, but don't know where to start?

Welcome then, because you have made it to the right place.

My name is André, and I am the founder of Explorado Invest

What is 'investing' ?

Let's start with this question, to provide some clarity. In a basic sense, investing means to forgoe some consumption today, in order to be able to have more resources (time, money, wisdom etc.) later. That is probably the main drive of why people invest. No one would forgoe consumption today to be even poorer at a later stage.

Mostly people invest time and money into something, to get something in return later that makes them better off. A university degree is a good example. Instead of heading to work and earn money today, you may decide to study for a number of years, in which you don't earn anything - but indeed you have to pay a shitload of mones to take the degree. Any why? Because chances are that with a degree you have many more opportunities to access high-paying jobs later, paying off your original investment plenty of time.

Good investments also serve a broader economic and social interest, contrary to what socialst thinkers believe. It makes, as in the example above, people smarter. And if we talk about financial investments, it enables companies to develop newer and better goods and services, which then again benefit the society at large. At least if you invest into the right companies that is.

So an economy in which many individual undertake smart investments will be considerably better off than one in which people spend all their income on consumption, and spend all their time in front of TV.

As such, your decision to invest - and as such to become an investor - needs to be applauded to.

Why investment seems to be scary - and why it shouldn't be

But then, there is a scary part. Investing sounds all like big money, graphs and charts, technical knowledge, blinking lights, angry shouting, stretch-limos along Wall Street etc.

Investing sometimes may sound as being only available to super-pros. But that is a misconception. Literally everyone can become an investor. And a successful investor too.

And yes. Such images have to do with investments. But probably more with people who are professional brokers, traders and investment bankers. Hectic jobs that also require specific knowledge - bringing us back to the degree.

But I absolutely believe in the concept that everyone could and should become an investor. For the reasons I have explained above. And for one more reason:

Because investing wisely can make you well off. Very well off (insert silly trigger image below. Yes, just to spur your imagination a bit).

My main message here is: You don't need to train for years to become a successful investor and make high profits. Of course, here is one disclaimer: There are different pillars of investment, and it would be good to understand them. Most basically, there is long-term investment to which you should contribute on a regular basis, with the goal to amass solid assets over years and decades. A good stock-fund for instance can bring you between 7% and 9, sometimes 10% p.a. If you put in some money every months over 30 years, that can look good at the end. You should consider this. Absolutely.

But you may also be interested in getting these high and very high rates of return on your money that you use for investments in a much shorter time. For example, you spend US$ 500 to buy some stocks, and a few weeks later you get US$ 1,000 in return. Or maybe US$ 5,500 after one year. That is 100% and 1,000% respectively.

You could now either say that is generally impossible. Or a hoax. Or impossible for a rookie investor. And I tell you that all three answers are incorrect.

How does this type of investing work?

High yields are possible where there is a high upside potential. That means your investment target has the potential to increase in value multiple times in a relative short time span.

Fact is that it simply depends where you put your money to. I do have a friend who was one of the very early investors in bitcoin. I laughed at him at the time, because I found the whole idea of 'internet money' quite silly. Well, he proved me wrong, and he is, I tell the truth, a millionaire by now. He invested some money and waited. Ok. I still don't understand bitcoin even today, but what I want to reiterate is that there are a few opportunities that pay off very well. UPSIDE POTENTIAL HERE IS KEY. BUYING LOW, WHEN THERE IS A REALISTIC CHANCE THAT THE VALUE OF THE COMPANY WILL INCREASE SUBSTANTIALLY.

And while my friend learned a few things about bitcoins before he invested, everyone who targets a specific high-return industry also needs to learn some aspects about it. But this is no magic. It doesn't require years or even momnths of effort.

So, since I am still agnostic about bitcoins, what is the industry that I recommend? My target is an industry that works every day to provide the world with something it needs every day. And every year that passes, it needs more of it.

What I mean is pretty well depicted in the graph on the right. In the next decased, the demand for metals will multiply. Copper, uranium, lithium, gold, iron, cobalt, silver, rare earth. But I am not talking about mining. Because mines extract the metals from a known deposit. But deposits deplete at an increasing rate. Hence new ones are required, and more and more of them, because our world needs more and more metals.

And that is the job of specialised exploration companies, which are also called Junior Miners.

These are professional companies whose job it is to look for and develop a deposit. When done, they either mine it themselves or sell it towards a mining company.

Why Investing in Junior Miners Can Make you Wealthy

I do not want to  too much into detail about how the Junior Mining industry works - I have reserved more space for this here:

But in elevator-pitch style - why should you considering investing in this industry?

Imagine that these are small, but highly professional companies which have under their belt: 2-3 top quality geologists, 1-2 financial experts, and 1-2 senior mining industry veterans. They also own a mining lease, i.e. a stake of land that they have identified in previous work as being prolific for let's say gold. And then they own a bit of machinery to do some sampling work etc. That's it. Their market value would be in the millions. Maybe ten million USD. Most likely they are listed on the Toronoto stock exchange (TSX or TSXV)

To make this story short - the upside potential of these companies is beyong anything else. Because if they can, backed by scientific evidence, deliver the hope that they work on a potential deposit, their market share will go to 20, 30, 50 million and beyond. And that means a doubling, or a five-fold increase of their stock valuation. Also te-fold increases and far beyond are possible. And you can start with investing relative little money. 500 Euros or Dollar, a few times a year could get you started.

Delivering hope

Note that I said 'deliver hope', and 'potential deposit'. Share prices will raise even if there won't be an economic deposit at the end. But of course, there must be increasing evidence  that there might be.

When the company drills and hits gold in an area that was suspected to contain gold before, it made a discovery. It is still no proof that a mine will be built here at the end.

But that does not need to bother us. The investor who understands a bit of the industry can have made lots of money until this point.

And you can sterilize your exposure early on, i.e. minimize your capital at risk as well. If the company goes on to be successful - even better. You can make 1000% and beyond. If it turns out there is not enough in the ground for a mine - you leave, but with susbstantial profits made until this point.

So - how much do you need to know?

Answer: You can never know enough. But the good thing is: You can start carefully with some principle knowledge. And this is what I am offering here: A FREE INTRODUCTORY STRATEGY TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL JUNIOR MINING INVESTOR.
