About This page
On this page, I will feature a number of companies that I have in my portfolio. This is not in any form investment advice, and you have to do your own due diligence before you decide any engagement.
I want to show however what information I usually extract, and how I order the information for the sake of investment decisions (i.e. when to buy and when to sell). I showcase the core information about the company, its strategy, and what are the upcoming milestones. As you know, successfully reaching a milestone (such as a drilling campaign or a scoping study etc.) can substantially boost share prices.
I divide the portfolio into
- Early exploration projects
- Drilling projects & discovery
- Advanced (post Pre-feasibility Study) project
I also add a section on Insights, Lessons Learned, Experiences, as well as a section on Project Milestones.
Under the company analyses, you will find the main analysis as well as project overview sheets and commented news documents.
PLEASE READ THE DISCLAIMER AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE CAREFULLY
Early exploration / prospecting
Early explorers are the riskiest to invest in. This is simply because we have very few information about what’s below the ground to start with. On the other hand: The opportunities for share price increases are also very big. Early explorers have a tremendous upside potential. We are in a classical ‚high risk – high reward‘ environment.
Next to usual factors (like experienced top management), I look at the right mineral, excellent location, historic data and/or mines/exploration projects nearby. You need to have an project that has the potential to 'send exiting vibes' to the market.
Usually the main strategic goal of companies at this stage is to get enough data and capital to embark on a drilling campaign.

Drilling & Discovery
When a Junior Miner advances to this stage, it gets very exiting, because...discoveries are only made by drilling. After a drill campaign has been (successfully) conducted, we now know that there is at least a mineral occurence in the ground, and the Junior Miner will work to develop this into a deposit.
Projects at this stage are getting less speculative, as the Junior Miner and its investors get a better idea of what's below the ground. On the other hand, there are still many opportunities for share price growth, as with more data we get more knowledge, and this knowledge will also translate into marketable value. We can focus on key milestones such as Maiden Resource Estimate (MRE), Preliminary Economic Analysis (PEA) or a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS).

Advanced exploration projects
This projects do have a pre-feasibility study or a feasibility study, and might even be ready for construction. Valuation methods play an important role here, and investors look for projects that are undervalued in comparison to the reserves they have in the ground. Also, resource expansion is another opportunity for making gains at this stage.
